**EDIT** Contrast tweaked.

Modeled after my 7" ryukin. It was originally inspired by a doodle made by one of the guys in my history class, but I wanted to add more of a realistic feel to it, so it looked more like an actual, possible-to-exist-in-real-life CREATURE, not just a 2-D doodle with random out-of-place bumps and so forth. Personally, I am quite pleased with the outcome! I spent considerable time on the inking, as well, so please notice the inking job on this one as opposed to most of my other drawings. Will hopefully color this when I get around to it.

Very cool creature indeed! I quite like it, and when I saw it, I right away thought of your precious fish you have ;). Anyhow, you did quite a convincing job of creating a realistic and convincing animal, although I don't think a real fish would have two tails in that manner - makes for difficult swimming and lestened hydrodynamics, I think... but that's just me ;)

Actually, the fantail in the back is exactly as it appears on my goldfish! (It really doesn't look like it would (or DOES) do much...mostly he writhes his massive body back and forth through the water, and the back fin just trails behind. (I've also noted that there aren't really spines like on the other fins, which he seems to be able to control much better, and uses to help steer, or paddle backwards if necessary)) Sooo yeah.

I was referring to the tail fin, which there appears to be two of... Are there two there? It looks like it.

I know! I was, too! (My goldfish is a fan-tail goldfish. he does have two tail fins)

hehee, awesome. I love how you did the fins, scales and teeth.

English doesn't borrow from other languages; English follows other languages down dark alleys, knocks them over, and sifts through their pockets for loose grammar.

Thanks! Dunno if I'll ever get around to actually FINISHING this, but we'll see...(wait, was this on the partially colored version or just the inked? If you haven't seen it partly colored, it's here.

Thank you for the lies, the deceit, the travesty, the murder and the grief. Without the darkness, contrasting with the light, I'd never see the true picture of life.
