Description
My first, full-scale (no pun intended), all-out commission!!! This was done for . She wanted a dragon, something with a lot of blues and greens that she could hang up in her dorm room!
Well, this ended up being a lot more work than I had thought it would be, but was a valuable experience; taught me a little bit about how to price things, or how nit-picky I should be based on that particular project. It was also an opportunity to make a less simplistic dragon, and experiment with some new features or decorative details that I haven't tried before!
This was done in pencil first, then inked (micron pens), and finally, colored in Prismacolor pencils. I went over everything again with a colored pencil blender, though certain highlighted areas were burnished with white. (I hate that technique, but I wanted to see if it would lighten the color at all, and it had a minimal effect. So I wasn't really pleased with that, but I was satisfied with the drawing as a whole)
Note me if you have an interest in commissions!

I love the style in which you draw the scales
